The charts compare how British’s leisure activities changed over the course of 10 years, from 2003 to 2013.
Overall, there was a fuctuation in all figures. In particular, watching film or music was more favored than the other recreational. It is noted that travelling and shopping became less attractive to British people.
In the year of 2003, film or music just held the third rank, at 21%, however, this number climbed significantly to 33% in the 10 following years, making it become the dominating feature. Besides, the percentage of books experienced a slight increase by 3% from 19% in 2003 during this survey period.
There was a rapid decrease in the proportion of travel which accounted for 36% and was the lion’s share in 2003 before decling to 29% in 2013. In similarity, clothes was less interested by British people. This figure dropped to 16% from 24% in the period of 10 years.You need to use more comparative languages such as double twice as much as…. Pay attention to spelling mistake too.
