Nowadays the way many people interact with each other has changed because of technology.
In what ways has technology affected the types of relationship people make?
Has this become a positive or negative development?

Nowadays the way many people interact with each other has changed because of technology. It has affected both positive and negative on people’s relationship.
On the positive side, technology help connect people with people in all around the world. Only with an internet-connected smartphone or computer they can communicate with their friends or relatives who are far away very easily. In some way technology can even make people more confident to make friend with a stranger. There are many people who find their best friend or partner thanks to technology.
Although can pull distance closer, technology can also create distance in real life, this is negative side. The more time people spend online, chatting, the less time they have for their real relationships. This mean you have nothing but a lot of virtual friends and “like”. If you do not spend enough time, you will not know how to build a relationship with anybody just by talking. Not putting the phone down, people cannot develop themselves and sooner become a lonely person.
In short, positive or negative of technology depend on how people use it.
