Generally speaking, my field of study is international relations (quan he Quoc te). In my major we learn about many different aspects of (các khía cạnh về) foreign cultures, diplomatic protocol, and international organizations, as well as such topics as negotiation and comparative ethics. 1. Where are you studying?

Well, I am a student of the University of social sciences and Humanities; it is on 10 Dinh Tien Hang street, in District 1 of HCMC.

  1. Why did you choose this?

Well, to begin with, I am quite keen on the social science field of study, especially anything related to national cultures and cultural relations. Another point which I could add is that this university doesn’t require passing an entrance exam with flying colors (pass with a high score). Finally, the professors and lecturers at this university have excellent qualifications in the subjects that they teach.

  1. What is good about where you’re studying?

In general, I’ve learned a lot from my university. The first thing I should mention is that it really helps me broaden my knowledge of international subjects, such as economics, law and politics. Additionally, .I have really become skilled in analyzing and getting to the bottom of (solve) problems, which is quite necessary for my anticipated future career.

  1. What would you like to do after you graduate university?

Well my plan, after graduation is that I would like to find a foreign company, or even a NGO (Non-governmental organization – tổ chức phi chính phủ) or an IGO (Intergovernmental organization – tổ chức liên chính phủ). Maybe in that way that I could make use of my knowledge about economics and other internationally relevant subjects I’ve studied at university. What’s more, I hope to make regular use of my English skills as much as possible in my work.
