Some people think that health care is a basic human necessity that should not be provided by the private companies, but should be provided by state.

Dicuss the advantages an disadvantages health care being provided by private sector.

It is said that health care is one of the fundamental human needs and therefore should not be supplied by private enterprises, but should be supplied by the government. This view has some positive and negative aspects.

On the one hand, it is undeniable that services provided by enterprises really have many benefits for the government as well as people. Firstly, with the taking part in of private sector, the government wil be unburbened from the amount of people who lacks of treatment. Many poor or people in rural areas will have opportunities to be cured diseases by private companies. Secondly, private companies can supply several incredible services if there have emergency cases. For example, some private hospitals in the United State of America have their own helicopters for transportation the injured people.

On the other hand, private enterprises in health service may be coped with some drawbacks. Firstly, the expenditure for the one who use the services of these enterprises may be much higher than the government’s one. The cost of enterprise’ s services may be twice or thrice as much as the cost of state’ s services because of higher salary fund or higher construction cost. Secondly, some companies may provide illegally health services. For example, in some cases, enterprises supply several health care services without responsibility to patients or permission of authorities.

In conclusion, there are some disadvantages of private sector in providing health care but they also have many noticable advantages.
