It is clear from the pie charts, which compare the expenditure of a school in UK in three different years( 1981, 1991 and 2001)

As can be seen from the figures, the percentage of teacher’salaries made up largest in total school spending. While the proportion of insurance was the lowest cost in three different years.

In 1981, 40% of total school spending is teacher’ salaries, which rose to 50% in 1991 but fell by 45% in 2001. In 1981, the percentage of the other workers was second highest in the expenditure of a school. However the other workers’ salaries went down stably from 28% of the budget in 1981 to only 15% in 2001.

Additionally, the percentage of resources reached a peak at 20% in 1991 and furniture and equipment was highest in 2001, at 23%. Finally, even the date of insurance was smallest in three times, it increased smoothly from 2% to 8% between 1981 to 2001.
