Some people think that it is important to use leisure time for activities that improve the mind, such as reading and doing word puzzles. Other people feel that it is important to rest the mind during leisure time.

The 20[th] century has witnessed the development of entertainment such as video games, movies and TV shows. Some experts advise people to use their leisure time for activities that develop the thought, instead take a rest in leisure time. This essay will debate about proper measures using free time.

First and foremost, the cerebrum needs to do exercises as well as people should go to the gym every week. If there is not any training activity for cerebrum, the mind is becoming gradually weak overtime. More importantly, children should participate the intellectual games such as cross puzzles, chees and checker for boosting their nous. Besides, the elderly also need the training brain because people have the high rate of Alzheimer in the ages over 60. Reading and playing intellectual games are the best ways to prevent the risk of degenerative brain diseases. Nowadays, the technological entertainment is growing at a startling pace, as we know, video games, social networking, movies and TV shows are substituting the position of books and knowledge games. Therefore, some people are probably reasonable when they reckon that humans should spend their leisure time for activities of the developing mind.

On the other hand, as the body, the cerebrum should take rest after hard working. In fact, you cannot read book or play games too long after a day working because reading or playing games also spend your power brain and focus attention. Accordingly, people must integrate time between the rest and entertainment.

To sum up, I refer that both aspects are equally important and people are totally able to create a balance between two important elements. In other words, the training mind and rest meet each other.
