Topic: the best way to solve the environmental problem is increase the cost of fuel.
Do you agree or disagree with this statement and give your opinion?
One of the most heated debate in today’s society is environmental problem. It is said that rising the fee for using fossil is the most feasible mean to address with this issue. In my opinion, I disagree with this point of view because dealing with it needs to combine a wide range of different solutions.
On the one hand, imposing an increase in cost of fuel may be responsible for a lot of serious side-effects. It is disputable that using fuel is deemed as a basic human need to study, work and produce, so restricting the fuel consumption by rising cost is completely impossible. For example, the factories could not suspend or limit their manufacture by the cost of fuel, instead they are likely to rise the price of goods. Moreover, this regulation might lead to social unrest and political instability. The growth of fuel cost has power impacts on the poor’s lives, while the rich do not pay much attention to this issue. All of these plus the increasing conflict between the government and the citizens might result in unimaginable wars.
On the other hand, there are more many suitable methods to tackle environmental problem. The first one could be generating more renewable energy such as wind, solar, water power. It is probably due to the fact that the main reason causing the environmental degradation is the large amount of CO2 emissions from manufacture of energy from fossil fuel. The second one is that the government should conduct a diversity of campaigns to propagate and encourage people to use fuel appropriately, as economically as possible. I think raising individuals’ awareness is the best way to solve, or at least alleviate this problem.
In conclusion, instead of rising cost of fuel, I think that both the government and people should cooperate to carry out these solutions above.[3/10/2018, 8:31:20 AM] Cám ơn các bạn!
