The given maps illustrate the transformation of a village between 1995 and the present day.
Overall, the village has become more developed, cutting out some of the natural beauty while extending the residential area and providing more options for leisure activities and parking.
In 1965, there was a fish market along the coast. However, it has been turned into apartments now. While the cafe to the southeast of the village and nearby the sea has still retained, the port for fishing has vanished today. Like the cafe, the hotel in the intersection of main roads has still remained, and the car park has been added near to the hotel. Meanwhile, the restaurants have been built right on the site where the shop used to be.
The land for farming and park has disappeared to make way for golf and tennis. Due to the development of the village, people have constructed more houses in the east and northwest of the area. Similarly, the road in the middle of the village has been extended.
