The diagram illustrates how consumer goods were produced through various steps which content conducting researches to take feedbacks’ customers and adjust the production in the early stages.
Overall, the production and product researches have to be carried out simultaneously through several complex stages, all of which play crucial roles in making high-quality products which will then be dispatched to consumers.
First of all, raw materials and manufactured components are transported and gathered in the storages before the production is planned in detail. During manufacturing goods, the inspection in turn is carried out to examine this production. After that, consumer goods are tested carefully before going to the next step where they are packaged without any mistakes. The last step of manufacturing process is delivery these items to customers.
In terms of product research, in this process, the information is assembled and sent to the market research step where feedbacks are analyzed and adjustment is likely to be done in the packaging stage and advertising programs. On the other hand, all of feedbacks from the testing and market research are taken into consideration to alter the design of goods. All of this change in design plus the information from sales are conveyed to production planning, they then affect storing of raw materials and other components.
