Nowadays, the traditions and customs relating to the food we eat and the way we eat are changing. Why is it happening? Do you think this king of change is positive or negative?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant example from your own knowledge or experience.
It is sometimes argued that the traditional cuisines we eat and everything relating to food has been changed. There are a number of reasons for this tendency, which can cause both advantages and disadvantages to our daily lives.
There are many convincing explanations why other food has gradually replaced the traditional dishes. First and foremost, available food can help people dealing with time-consuming. To be more specific, rather than squandering time in preparing meals, buying fast food or moving to any eateries are really convenient because they can have more spare time to rich their social life. Moreover, in the process of globalization, youngsters nowadays are easily attracted by new cuisine from overseas. For example, they have a habit of chasing tendency. Thus they will enjoy any prevalent dishes.
Besides, this convert in food may bring benefits to improve standard of life. Initially, it can give citizens more knowledge about international food as well as accelerate the awareness about nutrient and healthy diet. As a result, it is worth bearing in people’s mind that food also impact a lot on their physical well-being. In contrast, on the other hand, the innovation in food in recent years can negatively affected on national identity. In more details, the Western food’s presentation might cause the possible danger of extinction in traditional cuisines. For instance, sticky rice cake is a Viet Nam`s national food which might be altered different food due to the little cognition of the traditions and customs of young people.
To conclude, there are a bunch of factors influencing the alternatives in food and the way people eat. As consequences, it has their own negative and positive side to each individual and a nation as a whole.
