Everyone should become vegetarian because they do not need to eat meat to have a healthy diet. Do you agree or disagree?
People hold different views of what foods is suitable for a healthy diet. While many argue that everybody should follow a plant-based diet for its proven benefits to human health, I believe that people should not stop eating meet.
It is true that eating plant foods brings hugely beneficial impacts on health. Primarily, a vegetarian diet could guarantee good cardiovascular fitness for everyone. This is due to the fact that unlike type of fat in meat, the unsaturated fat in plant-derived foods does not pose detrimental implications on the vascular system such as vessel obstruction, thereby reducing risks of high blood pressure and heart attack. Additionally, plant-derived foods are very high in fiber, vitamins and minerals. These nutrients, in addition to the advantage that ensuring a good health for those who have to be on diet, help to slow down progress of chronic diseases such as diabetes or even forms of cancer.
However, I think that a no-meat diet is not for everyone. In fact, plant-derived foods are much more lower in calories than meat, so the choice of becoming a vegetarian is unlikely to be appropriate to those who have a high demand for calories intake. Take blue-collar workers such as miners or masons for example, they could be too exhausted to undertake arduous tasks in their own job if they stick to the vegetarian diet. They have to, therefore, eat a large amount of various vegetables or use supplementary products to meet their body need. However, these solutions are far more likely to cause going over budget as many vegetables and supplementary products are pricey compared to meat.
In conclusion, notwithstanding benefits of becoming a vegetarian. I contend that the plant-based diet is not for everyone.Của bạn đây, cảm ơn bạn.
