The pie charts illustrates the proportion of water allocated for three various sectors, namely industry, agriculture in six sections of the world.
Overall, the industrial water used accounts for the highest percentages in North America and Europe while inhabitant in the other areas make use of water the most for agriculture sector.
According to the charts, 48% is the rate of water used for industrial purpose in North America, whereas the figure for Europe is a little higher, at 53%. By contrast, the proportion of water utilized for agriculture in EU is 7% lower than North America’s. Meanwhile, there is a minimal difference in the data on domestic use in North America and Europe, just 2%.
A majority of water is used by agriculture in four remains, 71% in South America and over 80% in Africa, Central and South East Asian. Unlike South America, where people take advantage of 19% and 10% water for domestic and industry, respectively, these figures are below 10% in Africa. It is noticeable that the percentage of water used for domestic is only 7% in both Central and South East Asia, yet the figure for industrial use in South East Asia is over twice as much as that for Central Asia, 12% compared to 5%.Attachments:
