1.The graph below shows the different modes of transport used to travel to and from work in one European city in 1960, 1980 and 2000.

The given graph illustrates some kinds of transport such as train, car, tube and bus used to go to and from work in some Europe cities between 1960 and 2000.
Overall, while the percentage of users preferring car followed an upward trend, the figure for bus showed an opposite trend and these numbers of train as well as tube showed some fluctuations during the period recorded.
It is noticeable that although there was only below 7% commuters using in 1960, the number of peopling owning car then grew rapidly to nearly 20% and reached a peak at approximately 37% in 2000. By contrast, the first position in term of travelers proportion belonged to bus at nearly 40% in the first year researched, this number then showed a considerable declination to about 25% in the following twenty years and decreased constantly to exactly 15 in 2000.
Besides, the number of people choosing train and tube fluctuated from under 20% and closely 27% from 1960 to 2000.
