The chart below shows the results of a survey of people who visited four
types of tourist attraction in Britain in the year 1999.

The given chart illustrates the numbers of visitors travelling to some
kinds of famous destinations and five different theme parks in Britain in
the year 1999.

Overall, theme parks and museums and galleries were the two most attractive
places and the percentage of people going to Black pool Pleasure Beach was
the leader in the theme parks sectors during the period recorded.

It is noticeable that there was a slight similar in the proportion of
visitors visiting to theme parks and museums and galleries, at
approximately 37,5%. By contrast, only 9% and 16% people went to historic
houses, monuments as well as wildlife parks, zoos respectively.

In the theme parks sector, nearly a half of investigated people preferred
Black pool Pleasure beach while the lowest common tourist attraction
belonged to Legoland, Windor and Chessington World of Adventures, at nearly
10%. In addition, the number of people choosing Alton towers and
Pleasureland, Southport was about 16,5% during the period shown.
