Task 2: Many university students live with their families, while others live away from home because their universities are in different places. What are the advantages and disadvantages of both situations?

It is true that many students live with families while others move to a different city in order to pursue their studies at university. There are advantages and disadvantages in both situations in terms of finance and human development.

It can be seen that students choose to study in town tends to live with families which can help them to save living costs such as house rental, food. Moreover, living with families give them a chance to strengthen members relationship by spending time together every day. By contrast, there are some drawbacks to this situation. Firstly, the differences between generations may lead to conflicts that can affect to family background. Secondly, students will not have much private space as it is an essential need for human development.

Some students live away from home in order to pursue their studies at university, which facing so many challenges. By living away from home, they will lack of support and caring from families when illness. Furthermore, living costs required them an income that they have to work while studying. Therefore, they will not have much time to focus on learning. However, a new environment gives them opportunities to gain new experiences. The first experience is being independent as they have to do everything themselves, such as cooking, cleaning, learning. In addition, they can form so many friendships from the university and the city, which are lots of fun.

In conclusion, there will be some differences in the personal circumstance of individual university student who lives with family or lives away from home, these have both advantages and disadvantages.
