The picture illustrates the process of a pump powered by solar energy transporting water from a well or a bore to be used my villagers.
It is noticeable that the system includes three main equipment: a solar panel, a pump and a tank, which are located not only on the ground but also under the earth.
In the first stage, DC electricity is converted from sunlight by a solar panel which is incorporated by photovoltaic cells. Additionally, those cells are able to transform the light into electric current which can be utilize by humans. Next, the electricity can be used as a power to operate a pump situated deep inside a water well or bore. At the stage three, the water from the well or bore is moved upward to a higher tank located on the ground which is the last facility in the diagram. At the final step, the water is kept in the tank and will be carried to villages where residents will use it.
