As well as making money, businesses also have social responsibilities. Do
you agree or disagree ?

The success and development of a business are defined by social’s
encouragement. Moreover, company also have some influence on environment.
It is thought that enterprises should have obligation to public while they
are generating profits. I completely agree with this idea due to the
following reasons:

On the one hand, companies have always sought to make a profit to survive
in a competitive world. It is reasonable that they need money to pay for
employee, taxes for the government and infrastructure as well as
equipment’s service. On the top of these payments, it is not unnecessary
for company to invest in opening up market and innovations. If a business
is unable to pay these bills to remain success or meet the changing needs
of customers, any concerns about the social responsibilities become
irrelevant. In other words, a company can only make a positive contribution
to society if it is in good financial health.

On the other hand, businesses should not be run with the sole aim of
maximizing profits, they play a greater role in society. Almost all
programs which have purpose of charity receive a dramatic amount in
donation from great companies. Besides, companies can use a proportion of
their profits to support education initiative or environmental projects.
Furthermore, multinational corporation employs a huge amount of individuals
which means to solve the problem of unemployment. Finally, their tax
payments for government without taking advantage of loopholes give an
enormous contribution to the social development.

In conclusion, I do believe that companies should play as much importance
on social obligation as they do on their economic objectives.
