Modern buildings change the character and appearance of towns and cities. The government should insist that new buildings be built in traditional styles to protect cultural identity.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?It is sometimes argued that the architecture has been gradually changed the countries’ unique culture. So, the question is raised whether the authority should consider constructing new building in traditional ways to preserve national identity or not. Although the former opinion is supported by many, I find it sensible that the innovation in design will be better.
On the one hand, there are many convincing explanations to support why maintain traditional styles in architecture is necessary. First and foremost, historical attractions which cannot be refurbished can bring financial benefits to one country. Tourists from other different places tend to curios about the culture of old nations, old structures. Another angle can be found in the fact that every country should have at least one or two distinctive buildings which contain character and identity of the city. For instance, the twin towers in Kuala Lumpur or the Opera House in Sydney are the valuable sources for students can achieve the knowledge related to history object.
On the other hand, people with contrasting viewpoint maintain that keeping styles in architecture permanently seems to be a very boring idea of culture. Initially, with the significantly development in modernization nowadays, erecting skyscrapers with new design will depict how progressed the country is. Good architecture is a product of thinking about the function, the location and the technology available. Moreover, modern buildings provide more accommodation to dwellers. To be more specific, there is unstopped increase in population, so the great demand of housing with a bunch of storeys is necessary. Besides, it is appropriate for corporations to have offices in skyscrapers with good facilities.
To conclude, while the idea building next infrastructure in old styles is significant in history and culture. I personally believe that encouraging erect more high-rise buildings as a way to invest in the standard life effectively.[21/06/2018 12:39:04] Cám ơn các bạn!
