Chữa bài IELTS Task 1
The given line graph shows information on the number of people who went to the movie theater in UK in a particular period of time between 1990 and 2010.
Overall, despite a slight drop in 2000, movie watchers in all four age groups experienced a considerable jump. In addition, as a matter of fact, the percentage of the old have a tendency to more frequently went to the theater than the younger.
Looking at the graph in detail, we can see that because of having plenty of spare time, adults from 34 to 54 completely spent more time watching films at movie theaters than teenagers. Cinema attenders of two ages above in 1990 both had nearly the same number around 38%; but soon saw an enormous upward trend to 44% for people between 34 and 44 and 52% for people between 44 and 54, even though there is a noticeable decrease in 2000.
As can be seen from the graph, compared with the number of the old watchers, in spite of the similar huge decline in 2000, it is obvious that the number of the young witnessed an increase but very little change. This number risen slowly but stably in 20 years, increasing to 5% for people aged 14 to 24 and 10% for those who aged 24 to 34.Attachments:
