The graphs below show the types of music albums purchased by people in Britain according to sex and age.

The bar chart compares the number of categories of music purchased in Britain rely on gender and lifetime.
Overall, the percentage of people who buy Pop Music and Rock music is more popular than that of Classical music. Also, the age of 25-34 dominates in 3 categories of music.
By comparison, Pop music is favored by people in any sex and age. The age of 25-34 predominate to approximately 37%, nearly doubles the figures of female. The rock market is dominated by men with 30% buying rock, compared to 18% women. The interest in rock music reaches its peak among 25 to 34 years old. The interest drops off after the age of 35 with an even sharper fall from age 45 onwards.
On the contrary, people from the age 45 onwards hit the highest point in Classical music, around 22%. While young people at 16-24 years old show a downward trend in this type of music, which has a tiny portion ( 1% ). Additionally, Britain sees a similar figure for male and female who buy classical music, at about 9% and 7% respectively.
