The bar chart illustrates how much time the British spent on telephone calls by three different types between 1995 and 2002. Units are measured in millions of minutes.

Overall, it is evident that people in the UK spent most time on local-fixed line as opposed to mobiles being the least used. It is also notable that the number of minutes spent on national and international-fixed line and cellphones increased over seven years.

In the first year, 1995, the British spent more than 70 million minutes on local-fixed line, higher than the figures for the other two combined, at about 40 million minutes. This number witnessed a significant growth and then hit a peak of 90 million minutes in 1999. The similar trend is also seen in the minutes of national and international-fixed line and mobiles, which rose to 50 million minutes and more than 10 million minutes, respectively.

In the latter half of the period, the figure for national and international-fixed line saw a progressive increase and eventually reached more than 70 million minutes in 2002, narrowing down the gap between this figure and that for local-fixed line, which dropped by nearly 20 million minutes to more than 70 million minutes in the last year. Mobiles were used increasingly, which rose from more than 10 million minutes to lower than 50 million minutes, remaining the least used call type in the United Kingdom.

Bài của bạn thiếu những ngôn ngữ so sánh như double, approximate và so sánh các số liệu đang khá rời rạc. Bạn hãy luyện tập thêm nhé!
