Some people think that students should study whatever they like. Others believe that they should only be allowed to study subjects that will be useful in the future, such as those related to science and technology. Discuss both views and give your opinion.
Many people nowadays differ over the opinion that whether or not students should follow a curriculum of subjects that will be beneficial to them in the future. Some people think that everyone is entitled to choose what they are keen on, others suppose that pursuing majors like science or technology would bring students a promising future. In my opinion, I go along with the former viewpoint.
Studying favourite majors brings about numerous benefits to students. First and foremost, they are highly motivated to learn, which thrive their studying successfully. For example, when a student is allowed to learn what they want, they possibly try to make the best of their capacity to grasp the chances of self-improvement. Consequently, these students are likely to gain future success in their field. Furthermore, they also gain better satisfaction than those not involving in favourite aspects. Therefore, these pupils tend to obtain career progression, high earnings and esteem from others.
The true fact is that if a person chooses a job upon others’ opinions, they will skip classes in a certain day and afterwards enrol in a course they are interested in. This is a considerable waste of time and money because he/she could not get a degree out of former education. For instance, many senior students skip classes owing to lack of motives. They accept to start over their education and are determined to pursue their passion. In addition, if a great number of students come to the same trendy course, there will be redundancies in the market leading to competing atmosphere and a lack of employment prospects.
In conclusion, no one could predict which major will be prospect one; therefore, it is imperative to get immersed in their favourite aspect. In my opinion, only when students have absolute right to choose a course, whey probably acquire what they want.[9/16/2017, 9:08:17 AM] Cám ơn các bạn!
