The given pie chart illustrates Coca-Cola’s sales in the world’s different regions in 2000, while the line graph shows the price of its share over a period of 5 years, starting from 1996.
Overall, Coca-Cola saw the largest consumption in North America in the studied year. Although the share price of Coca-Cola fluctuated dramatically, it increased over the period shown.
In 2000, the total sales of Coca-Cola stood at 17.1 billion. The proportion of the sales in North American was the highest, at 30.4 % which was nearly twice as much as that in Asia, at 16.4%. The second largest rate of the sales was 25.7% in Latin America. These figures for Europe and Africa and Middle East were 20.5% and only 7%, respectively.
In terms of the share price, there was around $37 per a share in 1996. This figure went up quickly and reached a peak of about $80 in 1998. But then the price fell sharply in mid-2000, before peaking at over $50 in the end of this year. The share price continuously tended to decline in 2001.Attachments:
