There have been many debates over the impact of computer and electronic games on the development of youngsters. Although some people hold a strong belief that exposure to these games boosts particular skills, I am in favor of those who suppose that playing such games causes a waste of time.
On the one hand, there are various reasons why video games are considered to make valuable contribution to foster some essential skills. To begin with, a great many electronic games, such as puzzle and strategy ones, assist the young in stimulating their brain and reaction, which creates many chances to nurture their creativity and sharpen problem solving skills as well as critical thinking skills. To summarize, it is claimed that young people can adopt some helpful skills thanks to playing video games. However, it seems to me that players’ exposure to these games is a waste of an excessive amount of time.
