      The table below gives information on consumer spending on different items in five different countries in 2002.

      The table illustrates the percentage of consumer expenditure on different goods in five different countries in 2002.

      It clearly can be seen that the largest proportion of consumer spending for Food/Drinks/Tobacco in TK while Italian people prefer buying fashion clothes rather than other countries. Additionally, Turkey also had the biggest percentage of consumer spending for leisure and education.

      Out of the five countries, consumer spending on food, drinks and tobacco was noticeably highest in Turkey at 32,4% and the second largest was Ireland, at 28.1%. Similarly, Italy, Spain and Sweden were slightly different in spending for food, drinks and tobacco ( 16,36%,18,80% and 15,7%, respectively). In fashion aspects, Italy had highest proportion, at 9%. Furthermore, Sweden paid lowest for fashion only 5,40%, according to the data in 2002. Besides, Turkey had nearly three times of the percentage of Spansh consumer expenditure(4,35% and 1,98%, respectively.
