Some people say that subjects like arts, music, drama and creative writing are more beneficial to children and therefore they need more of these subjects to be included in the timetable. Do you agree or disagree?
It is true that sciences of arts play a crucial role to mental development and creativity of the children. In my opinion, these topics should be taught in the school to enhance the educational quality to youngsters.
On the one hand, those subjects related to sciences of arts stimulate the growth of emotional quotes which likely link with communication skills, presentation skills etc. For example, people are interested in music, arts and creative writing normally tend to expand their relationship with more people than those are not. As a result, if these subjects are included in the school, it will create a good foundation for them to develop social skills since they was young.
In addition, topics like arts, music, drama and creative writing are normally presented vividly, so children can feel very excited when they go to school. For instance, while mathematics or science subjects make children feel so stressful because of numbers, calculation formats, music classes or drama classes could be very funny with play-role activities or gentle melodies. Hence, this creates a balance for them and avoid mental diseases among youngsters at this moment.
In conclusion, creative subjects should be attached in educational programs for children to help them grow necessary skills before getting into higher education level and get a balance between natural science subjects and art science subjects.
