In recent years, it is argued that foreigners should spend more money than the local visitors in historical sites and national culture legacy. This certainly has both merits and demerits, which will be discussed in this essay. In my opinion, government should create equal for international citizens.
On the one hand, there are a lot of reasons why people assume that foreigners should pour more money into cultural attractions than local individuals. Firstly, the host country might pay taxes for history areas. Therefore, they don not witness an unfairness in admission ticket. Secondly, they assume that the national places are belong to their territory, so citizens who live longtime there take for granted.
On the other hand, there has been considerable opposition against that foreign should spend more money than local citizens. Firstly, fee is a short-term benefit, compared with benefits of tourists bring to nations when they visit cultural legacy and historical monuments such as boost economic growth and exchange culture between countries. Furthermore, we should create equal for all individuals, resulting in international citizens pay more visits ever than. It is opportunities for us to boost national images.
In conclusion, all the questions mentioned above make sense and consequently. It is hard to come to an absolute conclusion. In my opinion, foreign visitors should pay as money as local visitors.
