The pie charts below show how dangerous waste products are dealt with in three countries.
The pie charts compare methods employed to solve harmful waste materials in three countries, namely Republic of Korea, Sweden and UK.
It is noticeable that recycling is one of the main solutions to deal with dangerous waste in both Republic of Korea and Sweden, but it is not employed in UK at all. And only dangerous waste products in UK are treated by chemicals or dumped at sea.
Looking charts for more detail information, we can see that recycling is the most widely-used method in Republic of Korea (69%) while only a quarter of Sweden’s hazardous waste products is disposed by this way. In contrast, UK and Sweden commonly solve their similar waste by burying underground, accounting for 82% and 55% respectively and the figure for UK is just 22%. In addition, all countries mentioned also employ incineration method to destroy this kind of waste, making up approximately 9% of harmful waste materials in Republic of Korea, 20% of those in Sweden and only 2% of those in UK.<3 Thank you for trusting IELTS Planet and Scholarship Planet.
