I am not a real connoisseur of art (an art savvy) or hold any particular interest in painting. When it comes to arts and anything that is art-related, there are some of the most recognized artists immediately pop up in my minds such as Picasso, Mozart and so on. I would like to tell you about one of the most popular pieces of art worldwide is the “Mono Lisa” painting by an Italian artist, Leonardo Da Vinci.
The painting is so famous that I personally think there is hardly anyone who hasn’t heard about or seen copies of it. It is currently displayed at the biggest museum in Paris. Although I haven’t seen it in person, I have read many documents about it since I was high school. The work of art depicts Lisa sitting in front of an imaginary landscape- the toughest drawing technique of all time. One of the most curious things about the picture is Mona Lisa’s charming smile. It is not only amazingly beautiful picture but also has lots of mysteries. There are many hypotheses about this painting but it is actually remains a controversial question. It has been said that whether it is happy smile or sad one depends on the mood of art viewers. That painting was so impressive to me. It looked so real that I could not believe that it was created by a person. Leonardo who made that painting was a genius, because he could really touch the heart of the viewers. This artwork gives me a sense of peacefulness and I hope that I could have a chance to Paris for viewing this authentic piece of art in person in the future.Attachments:
