Topic: Some people argue that history is of little or no use to us. Others believe that studying history give many benefits. Discuss both viws and give your own opinion.
Some people are of the opinion that history is pointless and unnecessary to our life while opponets of this idea claim that learning history can bring numerous merits to ourselves. While history is not a subject we should totally concentrate on learning , I would agrue that studying history contains many favourable aspects which is fruitful to each individuals.
On the one hand, there are several possible explanations for why history loses there importance in those ideologies. The first considerable is that many lessons which are learned through historic wars or events, are hard for us to deal with present situations due to the differences between today and previous time. For instance, how can we use the old methods in the Second World Wide to react to chemical or biological wettpoints. Furthermore, the social background and the development of economy make historic stories seem to be unsuitable for the young generations. Those young intellectural can witness and learn quickly from reality instead of watching or reading historical events.
On the other hand, it seem to me that history has a good and huge influence on studying. Firstly, these value lessons which reflect from history, help citizens to love their coutry more. For example, when I was taught that my country defened other coutries to protect our independence and peace, the sense of pride is increased in my mind. Secondly, learning history can help us to apprehend about the process of establishment and development not only our own nations but also the others. As a result, it is beneficial to fall in line with their culture.
In conclusion, while in many aspects, history has numerous drawbacks, it seem to me that the advantages of it is unique.
