DISCUSSIONS
1. Some people think that robots are very important to human’s future development. Others think that they are dangerous and have negative effects on society. Discuss both opinions and give your personal view.

Some people believe that robots could be extremely harmful for our future society, while the opponents of this idea prefer to guarantee a ubiquitous life for human- being. While robots can sometimes be useful in prospective civilization, I would argue that the disadvantages of robots are likely to outweigh the positive aspects of it.
On the one hand, there are two main reasons why it could help to build future society. Firstly, robots could operate in locations that humans cannot reach such as exploration of the outer space. Moreover, robots will be used inside the human bodies for monitoring their health and undertake surgery. The second role is that robots could do normal jobs quickly unlike human beings. This is due to the fact that robots do not complain or get distracted or tired, they readily work twenty-four hours and require minimal maintenance.
On the other hand, it seems to me that robots have adverse effects in the future world. One main reason is that the replacement of machines leads to the lost popularity of human workforce. As a result, many other problems may emerge such as poverty and increased crimes. Furthermore, people will become more dependent on robots in their daily life and this may harmfully affect their skills as cooking and driving. Therefore, people become less active and this may result in some health problems like obesity.
In conclusion, there are convincing arguments both for in and against the role of robots in our future world, but I believe that the robots will have negative impacts to the future society.
