Some people think distance-learning programmes can never be as good as courses taken in person. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
It is generally thought that taking face-to-face classes is always better than E-learning educational programmes. While I agree that this may suit many people, I still argue that students should be exposed to interactive courses through the Internet.
On the one hand, I believe that it will bring a lot of advantages for students who are living in remote rural areas. This means that the learners can be given the same opportunities as those who are living in the cities. Not only do they get the chance to approach to modern-learning methods but they can also collaborate with famous teachers. As a consequence, they will expand their knowledge and fulfill their dreams. Furthermore, distance coures help young people get more freedom and control their time. The students can learn whenever and wherever they want, either in the coffees or at the midnight.
On the other hand, there are strong reasons that the young should accept that they must have an instruction of teachers. The primary reason is that teachers hold the most vital position in the early stages of numeracy and literacy. Should we deprive children from the basic education, the illiteracy will banket our country as well as their future. Another reason is that the appearance of distance-learning programmes leads students to have a deterioration in health as a result of sticking their eyes on computer screens for several hours . For example, my brother, who usually spend most of his time on learning on the computer, are sufferring from the eye diseases and a higher risk of obesity than a normal person due to the waves from computers and wifi devices.
In conclusion, it is certainly true that E-learning courses plays an integral part in our life, but this is by no means the key for every student to succeed.
