One reason is that the demands in communications in the labor market are more and more rising on these days , especially in countries are undergoing industrial progresses . If you have prepared elaborately linguistic skills, you will quickly get high benefits which was required by big corporations . Another reason is that the time you enjoy a fresh cultures become more plainly . Having comprehension about a language in host communities will help you mutual understanding and be welcome in a friendly way by local inhabitants .
On the other hand , I believe that there are a variety of objectives when individuals learn an additional language . Firstly m the number of students who go on a study tour account for large percentage in development nations . As a result , the competitive levels among students are higher than that of the past . Having a stable understanding about languages will get these chances quickly . Further more , more and more business tend to expand their market share to foreign countries . If companies do not have any knowledge about languages in host nations , it is full foul the business practices and not able to keep customers .
In conclusion , although the undoubted purpose of study fresh language is traveling and finding a job , I still argue that there are still many different reasons but above aim.
