Education should be accessible to people of all economic backgrounds. All levels of education, from primary school to tertiary education, should be free.

To what extent do you agree or disagree?
As education plays an integral part for future career of any individual as well as future of any country, children should be able to access to all levels of education. While I totally agree that no tuition fees will be charged to parents for their children’s studying from the level of primary school to high school in despite of their social statuses, I believe the education fees are extremely necessary for higher education institutions.
There are a number of reasons that all children whose parents are from all different economic situations should receive the fundamental qualifications at no costs at all. Firstly, opening schools for all children to study will enable government to increase the literacy rate of the society which is always a goal of any country, especially the developing ones. Secondly, if primary school, secondary school and high school are only accessible to the young people whose parent can afford school fees, it is not fair for the ones who are raised in poverty. Finally, all knowledge and skills achieved from those levels of education are definitely essential and would benefit for entrance exam to universities or colleges, so all young people should be given equal chances for their future higher qualifications.
If government continues to fully subsidize education charges at university or college level that is not always the choice of student after graduating from high school, there could be a shortage of government budget because of a larger amount of investment in curriculum, facilities and professors at university level. As a result, they may need to raise the fund by increasing personal income tax scheme which will not be a welcomed solution from the society, in particularly from middle – class people. Therefore, university tuitions should be required because they are important sources of income that help universities to maintain their education qualities and reduce financial burden for society.
In conclusion, all children should be allowed to study without charges at primary school, secondary school as well as at high school to accumulate fundamental knowledge strongly for the higher education in later years, and higher education institutions only can provide with the high quality of teaching and learning when they are paid reasonable tuition fees.
