6. Nowadays, full- time university students tend to focus on their
studying. Some people think it is essential for university students to be
involved in other activities. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is necessary for many university student to join in some activities
besides their learning. While I accept that this may suit many student, I
believe that others focus on their studying because of their goals in the
future.

On the one hand, there are variety of reason why student should take part
in some activities. One reason is that it give students essential skills
such as communication skill or problem solving one. For example, the
academic competitions are actually good for student to join and develop
themselves. Furthermore, one of the best interesting things of university
is participating extracurricular activities. It makes students relax and
have memorable moments with their friends.

On the other hand, students have different reasons to focus studying.
Firstly, student who continue to study after graduation must spend more
time researching their syllabus. For instance, post-graduate courses is
difficult to study in a short time. Secondly, many careers are only require
professional development instead other skills. Therefore, they don’t need
to join in activities.

In conclusion, it is certainly true that some activities can be an
important things for many students, but this is no means essentials for
everybody in university.
