It is suggested that everyone should have a car, a TV and a fridge. Do the advantages of this development outweigh the disadvantges.
In a developed era, technological products have become so popular to most citizens. Because of this, some people argue that every person should possess electrical items such as TV set, car and fridge. This trend creates both benefits and drawbacks to our daily lives.
On the one hand, there are some reasons explained why the disadvantages are made during revolutionary world. Firstly, the appearance of modern equipment has led to some environmental problems. In a manufacturing industry, companies or organizations increase their production to meet the needs of the society. As a result, more and more waste released from the factories make serious damages to the environment. For example, the car manufacturing process consumes much energy and resources from nature. Moreover, the emission of carbon dioxin from cars sold is the cause of greenhouse which adversely affects human health.
On the other hand, electrical equipment is essential in improving the citizens’ quality of life. If it had not been for the inventions of these tools, people would not have received such transformation in both work and basic needs of life. For instance, the use of cars plays an important role in connecting individuals who live long distance from each other. Transportation also becomes much easier with cheaper price for commuters to travel to their workplace or other areas. In addition, entertainment value has been brought thanks to the popularity of TV shows. Many people can be relaxed after a long day with hard work by watching programs on TV.
