Topic: Nowadays, more and more older people who need employment compete with the younger people for the same job. What problems this causes? What are solutions?
In recent years, job competition among candidates at different ages has become a subject of concern. This causes much pressure on both young people and older one. To tackle this problem, individual effort as well as public help should be given.
When it comes to job opportunities, while graduated students have less chance fit in potential position, the older people have to deal with age discrimination. Although youth and enthusiasm are the advantages of young people, they are often inexperienced. Compared to the older counterparts who already involved in labor force, graduate recruiters can rarely adapt to job required high skill. On the other hand older people are judged by their age and considered lack of fast learning to changes. As a result, many of them cannot find an appropriate job to fulfill their basic needs.
There are some solutions can be made to improve this situation. For the younger people, it is crucial for them to widen their knowledge while studying at school by involving in internship courses. If they are able to work in reality, they can gain more chances to apply for better job position in the future. Nevertheless, the older people need recognition from the society to prove their ability. For example, government should set out rules that encourage employers to create more opportunities for citizens at all ages .
In conclusion, I believe that individuals should try their best to overcome difficulties in seeking jobs. Besides, the surrounding environment should play a role in treating people equally.[1/5/2018, 6:25:59 PM] Cám ơn các bạn!
