When it comes to safety in sport participation, some people argue that dangerous sport should be prohibited by the authorities while the opponents of this idea insist on freedom in doing sports that they enjoy. In my opinion, I agree with the later point of view
There are some reasons why extreme sports have become a subject of concern. At first, they are quite risky compared to other kind of sports as players often face serious accidents. If they are not well-trained or when they are not in good physical and mental condition, injuries or even death can happen. Secondly, some dangerous sports have been taken up by irresponsible persons who aim at making themselves popular to social network only. For example, a young man in China has just passed away as a result of slipping hand while he was trying to jump from one tower to another. Before his death, a negative trend was created among many youngsters were influenced by his action.
On the other hand, risk is a nature of any sport kind. Due to intensive training or equipment failure, anyone can suffer from pains or serious injuries. To mitigate risks, players should be encouraged to practice sports with appropriate amount of time. Moreover, it is important to prepare equipment which can adapt to safety standard when taking extreme sports. As different sports possess different kinds of risks, they will not turn into a danger as long as participants are self-aware of what they need to do.
In conclusion, I believe that individuals have their own choice and taking extreme sports will not be dangerous at all.
