The chart below shows how frequently people in the USA ate at fast food restaurants between 2003 and 2013.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.The bar chart compares how many times Americans ate fast food in restaurants for one year, based on the percentage of people consumed this kind of food in 2003, 2006 and 2013.
Overall, the number of individuals eating fast-food every day was lowest among years. People tended to eat this kind of food once per week and once or twice per month.
It can be evident that people did not spend their money buying fast food every day with 4% of people in 2003. This figure decreased slightly to 3% in 2003, and it remained stable in 2013. The number of people that had never consumed this food has the same trend. There were 5% of American of population disliked eating fast food in 2003, and this number was only 4% up to 2013. The percentage of people consuming this food a few times a year was at 15% in 2006 and 2013, which was higher than 2003. For people eating fast food several times a week, the number was ralatively as many as a few times a year in 2013 although it reached to 20% (reached the peak of 20%) in 2006
Having this type of food once or twice per month or once a week saw a fluctuation during the period shown. In 2006, people eating fast-food one time a week were highest with 33%, but this number went up to 27% in 2013. In contrast, 25% people bought this kind of food once or twice a month in 2006, and this figure increased considerably to 33% in 2013.Attachments:
