In many countries, traditional foods are being replaced by international
fast food. Many people think that  it is good to eat traditional food while
others believe that  fast food is a good choice. Discuss both
views and give your own opinion.

Nowadays, an increasing number of people are concerned about what kinds of
food we should eat. However, whether we should choose tradtitional foods or
fast food is a controversial issue. From my personal perspective, I
completely agree that

One the one hand, there are many reasons why people believe that convenient
food is a good choice. Firstly, fast food is a kind of food for time-
saving. This means that it is suitable for our fast lives. In the modern
life, we are too busy to prepare for meals. Therefore, fast food is
convenient for us. Secondly, fast food is multi-national and is processed
by different methods as well as food ingredients. In fact, there is almost
all international food coming from separate cultures, which empowers us to
have a diversity of food. Furthermore, its quality is also thoroughly
tested, making us feel safer when having meal.

On the other hand, some argues that traditional food is a better option for
our daily meals. Firstly, the traditional foods made by ourselves were
carefully prepared. For example, we often chose safe and organic ingredents
to cook our meals, compared to fast food which contains high levels of
calories from sugar or fat with little fiber, vitamins and minerals. As a
result, traditional food will help us to prevent some health problems such
as obesity or diabetes. Secondly, traditional food will make us taste
better because of being suitable for each country. Thirdly, chosing the
traditional foods is one of the best way to conserve not only our national
customs but also our cultures. It is noticeable that the society can be a
place which contains only convenient food, we will also gradually lose our
national culinary identities.

In conclusion, I believe that although fast food slightly replaces the
position of traditional foods, the later always plays an integral part in
our daily lives.
