Nowadays, food has become easier to prepare. Has this change improved the way people live? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
It is observed that preparing food now is a much more favorable task than previous time. I strongly believe that the changes in making the food have had the positive effects on people’s life. The essay will discuss two main reasons resulting to this improvement.
To begin with, changes in the way we can cook food are suitable for women who have to work outside of the home. In the past, married women were expected to be homemakers who were in charge of their household and prepared two or three meals a day for their family. My mother is a great example. She spends hours every day at the market and kitchen to buy and process food in a traditional way. As a result, she was not able to follow her dreams of earning money in the business world. It is clear that the recent improvements on the food preparation have made women easier to balance their career and family obligations. They might get all ready-made food items, frozen vegetables, ingredients to cook food from the nearest shops and thus, women get more opportunities for the personal developments, career and taking care their family as well.
Secondly, the development of science and technology has impacted on our daily lives. The modern household appliances such as microwave, smart electric ovens save women a significant time and energy. For instance, previously, it would take more an hour to make pizza. But now it takes only ten to fifteen minutes. Besides, the modern methods of preserving food have made people more comfortable. They can prepare meals or different kinds of food one time and then keep them in the refrigerator or freezer. It is easy to always have food available and to be able to cook very fast and nutritious.
In conclusion, the improved way of cooking has saved a lot of time and efforts, so people can consume their time effectively in doing other useful work.Please find attached your feedback. Keep up the hard work!
