The given maps compare the Stokeford village in two timings, 1930 and 2010.
As can be seen from the graph there were a number of noticeable upgradations as well as replacements in this town over the period of 80 years.
In 1930, most area in Stokeford was used for farmland, which was located in the top-right corner of the map and in the area between the main road and river Stock. In addition, there was a residential zone in the centre of Stockeford, on both sides of the main road, in which lied two shops, a post office ,and a primary school. Especially, south of the primary school was large houses surrounded by a garden.
In 2010, two shops on the left hand side of the main road and some parts of the farmland were destroyed as a result of expansion of residential zone while the primary school’s infrastructure was upgraded with two new blocks.
