The line graph describes how wheat exports in different countries changed from 1985 to 1990.

As can be seen from the graph, each lines representing for each country demonstrated extinctively in terms of wheat export, from downward to upward trend. However, in most years of the period, Canada saw a higher rate of wheat transfered abroad than that of others.

European Community and Canada share the same trend over the period of the first 3 years. While Canada’s export rate fluctuated significantly to reach its highest peak of 25 million tons in 1988, European Community sufferd a decline to a minimum of 14 million tons of wheat before increasing throughout 4 years later. By contrast to the burgeoning wheat export of European Community since 1986, in 1988, that of Canada dropped sharply within only 1 year to its lowest point of around 14 million tons then climbed back to nearly 20 million tons by the end of 1990.

Not having quite a positive wheat trading with increasing figure compares to Canada and European Community, Australia witnessed fully decrease throughout four fifths of the 5-year period. Except a slight surge could be spotted between 1985 and 1986 of 1 million tons, the amount of exported wheat fell slowly to the bottom of only 11 million tons in 1990.
