The graph below shows electricity production (In terawatt hours) in France between 1980 and 2012.

The diagram compared about the electricity produced from 4 sources from 1980 to 2010 in France. It is clear that the majority of produced energy came from nuclear source, while the renewables source used to the lower proportion in comparison with others. By contrast, the power generated from thermal and hydroelectric sources were higher position.
In 1980, the thermal source occupied the highest proportion in generating electricity with over 100 terawatt hours while nuclear and hydroelectric sources were lower than thermal source with nearly 70 terawatt hours. At the same time, renewables source was not used to generate the power.
After next one year, the nuclear source generated the electricity was increasing from 50 to 100 terawatt hours. On the other hand, the amount of electricity created from hydroelectric and renewables sources still remained, with nearly 70 and 0 terawatt hours respectively. From 1981, the amount of nuclear source used to generate the power was increasing immediately and reaching peak at 2005 with nearly 420 terawatt hours, which after that this source fluctuated slightly around 400 terawatt hours. By contrast, the amount of electricity generated by thermal source reduced slightly from nearly 120 to nearly 30 terawatt hours until 1987 year and changed slightly around 50 terawatt hours in 2012, while the amount of electricity created from hydroelectric source fluctuated around 50 terawatt hours from 1981 to 2012. The renewables source seem to be used the small proportion after 200 year, which increased to nearly 30 terawatt hours in 2012.
