In recent years, the family structure has changed, as well as family roles. What are the changes which have occurred? Do you think these changes are positive or negative ?

Nowadays, people live in the era of industrialization and urbanization, as a result, the family structure and family responsibility have transformed. Personally, I hold the perception that these changing bring more merits than demerits.

In the past, women usually spent their whole time to do house work or take care child at home instead of working like their husband. At the moment, this trend is switching significantly, especially in Asian developing countries, where have a lot of discrimination about women and men. For example, previous generation in Viet Nam hold the perspective that women should be responsible for housework such as cooking or cleaning dishes. However, husband tends to help women at home besides working hours.According to these changing, women are encourage to build their career, because every women has a right to go to work like men, many women take a high position at global company and high education qualification.

Besides the women role is development, children who live in nuclear family learn to become live independently at an earlier age. They possibly work part time to earn money and enjoy the life or build strong relationships in social after studying at school. Consequently, When they graduate at university or college, they hold more potential opportunities and benifical relationships, which are key factors influencing their future.

From my personal perspective, I reaffirm my belief that the changes of structure family can stimulate the development of a variety of things, especially for women and children.
