Chữa bài IELTS Task 2
Some people think that developing countries need financial help from international organizations. Others think that it is practical aid and advice that is needed. Discuss these views and give your own opinion.
Over the past few decades, international interaction has been fostered in leaps and bounds. In this context, some adopt the view that global associations should give their hands to developing countries for the sake of win-win benefits, while I would like to make a case for workable guidance.
On the one hand, it is necessary to recognize that monetary aids can facilitate many aspects of poor nations. In these countries, a multitude of children, who are considered leaders of the future, lose the opportunity to get decent education environment due to the lack of schools, aggravating the increasing proportion of illiteracy. Such international sponsors will open an avenue for building new schools and educational infrustructure, which will help bridge the gap between the haves and the have-nots. Equally important, these handsome budgets from international unions are usually used for constructing more highways, an integral part of industrialization and modernization in destitute countries. ODAs from World Bank, for instance, are conductive supports for Asia countries.
On the other hand, I believe that practical instructions are more valuable than inanimate banknotes. Needless to say, such financial susidies can only make radical changes if the status of bureaucracy and corruption are comprehensively eradicated in under-developed nations. In recent years, a large amount of global aids have been to fill the pocket of corrupt officials, which detrimentally affects the development of these countries. Last but not least, financial funds will easily turn recipients into dependents, which is extremely harmful in the long run. Instead, technology transfer should be encouraged to assist under-privileged nations in pushing the limits. As an illustrate example, members of APEC usually exchange their agricultural techniques in the quest for mutual progress.
In conclusion, I recommend that international organizations should just back up developing countries through practical advice.
