Cho em hỏi là mình có được dùng từ “among many others” cho nghĩa là “etc” được không ạ? Vì em từng được một giáo viên dạy là trong một bài essay thì không được dùng từ “etc” mà thay thế nó bằng từ “among many others”. Cám ơn anh/chị a.

International tourism has become a huge industry in the world. Do the problems of international travel outweigh its advantages?

It is sometimes argued that international travel is gaining more and more prevalent which play a crucial roll all over the world. Although many thought that the substantial number of foreign visitors might affect their nation, I personally believe that international tourists will bring more benefits to countries rather than negative things.
There are many convincing explanations to support why the increasing in foreign travellers is necessary. First and foremost, it will bring cost-effective benefits for nation. Tourists have to pay expenditure for accommodation, food and personal demands. Hence, the more international tourists stop by, the more profits storekeepers have. Second possible reason is that nowadays bunch of large companies have overseas branches all over the world. This contact assists a lot to citizens. For example, they will have more opportunities for promotion at work and acquire new knowledge, which they cannot experience in their mother nation.
Another angle can be found is the fact that apart from travelling purpose of some people, many go oversea as they want to receive the better medical treatment. To be more specific, each year, a huge number of people visit developed countries because of their cure illness. Moreover, tourists tend to stop by other countries to learn about diverse culture and cultivate different quintessence. This is a positive aspect to reduce the misunderstanding about one nation.
To conclude, I hold a firm belief that the development in figure international travellers in recent years has brought not only the country but also tourists a range of benefits.
