Human activity has had a negative impact on plants and animals around the world. Some people think that this cannot be changed, while others believe actions can be taken to bring about a change. Discuss both views and give your opinion.
In recent years, human impacts on the eco-system has been noticed worldwide. While some people say that these detrimental effects are irreversible, I believe that actions could be taken to improve the environment. This essay will discuss both these views.
It might be undeniable that the negative impacts of human to the environment are permanent. In one report by Research Institute of Wildlife, over the last decade, mankind had witnessed the disappearance of more than 5 thousands species of animals. This is due to the changing natural environment which could be trade back to human frauds. Furthermore, the ozone hole in the North Pole is widening days by days without any measure to fix it.
However, the irreversible environmental problems could be improve if mankind takes appropriated action to improve the environment. For example, actions like reduction of personal vehicles, using the share-commute transportation or turning off the unnecessary electrical machines might seem small but together, the actions will have a tremendous impact. Last year Green Day helps Viet Nam saved up to three billion kilowatt hours. Imaging the effect could have if the Green Day plan happens every day in the years. The saving up of electricity will decrease the pressure on the limited fossil fuel resources as well as the amount of toxic exhausted fumes produced.
In conclusion, despite the irreversible impacts of human actions on environment, actions to improve the environment could still be beneficial to mankind only home. It is my firm belief that each person needs to take actions to save our planet.
