It is true that music is playing an essential part in all types of communities and culture around the world nowadays. It is argued by many that music only affects positively to individuals as well as the community as the whole while the opponent of this idea prefer both sides of the issue. While I agree that music fulfils our lives in many ways, I believe that music could also have negative influence on its listeners these days.
On the one hand, there are many benefits that music would brings to us. Firstly, music is one of the most primaral and fundamental aspects of human culture. Each nation has its own unique music which links its history to the present and distinguide a particular country from the rest of the world. Seconly, listening to music is one of the best ways to relax so as to release stress. In addition, some kinds of music such as baroque helps increase people’s concentration on work or study.
On the other hand, it seems to me that modern music could bring more dark sides. One reason is that a considerable number of singers choose to involve unhealthy contents like sex or hot scenes into their videos in order to get more views on Youtube. This kind of approaching might influences negatively on young audiences who have not developed their insights completely. Another reason is based on the serious expanding of crazy fans among young generation. There are many teenagers in Korea skip classes to observe their ‘oppo’ every day, idolizing may dcrease the quality of academic study or work performance of certain parts of the society.
In conclusion, while there are many benefits from music, I believe that morden music bring undeniable negative effects on young people and societies.
