In many countries, young people leave rural areas to work or study in cities. What do you think are reasons of this? Do you think the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?
It is public concern that, in recent years, there are many people migrate to urban area to study or work. While I accept that this phenomenon has some evil view, I believe that others will think advantage for this.
It seems evident that there are many reasons why young people decide go to cities for work and education. Firstly, almost national universities are located in big cities., thus undergraduates do not have other option except transference urban center. They pursue an educational career to have an integral life. Secondly, many job seekers go to cities, where many corporations locate their head office, with hope about huge workforce, which could help them define their job path. Moreover, the measure of remuneration in central higher than rural area, so employees can have a comfortable life.
We can see, this phenomenon has both direction advantages and disadvantages. Firstly, the concentration of employees in big cities will make here become a huge human resources. This is a main facility to develop economy. However, on the contrary, the migration of people brings more negative aspects. The over population in urban area pressures on public infrastructure such as traffic, hospital, school or housing facilities. Now, in some cities like Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh, the condition of basic needs is not enough to supply citizens. Besides, although work market maintains, the number of job seeker is still increased. This is one of the main reasons of the rising crime and social evils in cities. Because, people tend to be doing anything even illegal to have guaranty life.
In conclusion, the migration is both advantaged and difficult. However, the negative direction is more concerned.
